About Lottery Singapore

There is no shortage of gambling opportunities in Singapore. This small country has a large population and is rich in culture and entertainment options. It has a diverse range of casinos, clubs and bars.

It also boasts a range of sports betting products, including football and motor racing bets. In the last financial year, sums betted on lottery and sports betting reached SGD9.2 billion (US$6.8 billion), a record in four years, according to the Tote Board.

The statutory body oversees the lottery operator Singapore Pools and horse racing operator Singapore Turf Club. It is the only legal bookmaker and totalisator for lottery and sports betting in the country.

The easing of COVID-19 restrictions has spurred a new wave of spending on lottery and sports betting products. This past financial year, entry collections for lottery and sports betting rose by more than 12% to SGD125 million (US$92 million) compared with the previous financial year, said the Tote Board.
